Just ruined our new bathroom
My mother designed our new bathroom a year ago. She had always wanted to have this kind of bathroom, and she finally earned enough money to buy all necessary materials. The new bathroom is sky blue, with some white and pale grey elements. It"s really well-lit, with all sorts of small lamps around you. There are some sculptures and plants there, too. Yesterday it was my turn to clean our new bathroom. I had noticed a couple of dirty stains on the tiles so I bought some special detergent to get rid of them. I sprinkled the tiles with the liquid all over the place, waited for five minutes, just as the label said, and started wiping the liquid off with a piece of cloth. Well, I must tell you that my heart nearly stopped when I saw the effect. The detergent washed away some of the colour and now the sky blue tiles look like clouds and there are some irregular marks on the grey tiles. I read the label again. Well, I might have read it more carefully before! It says you should test it on a small spot to check if the detergent doesn"t wipe off your colourful tiles! Of course I am very disappointed at the moment. But the worst thing is, my mum will be shocked when she sees her new bathroom. She"s coming home in the afternoon, and I"ve already checked if I have enough money on my bank account to compensate for what I have destroyed.
